Visitors

Welcome to St. Paul Lutheran Church. Here are some fast facts to help you plan your visit to St. Paul’s. We hope to see you soon!

Our Mission

Feeding God’s people both inside and outside while listening to what the people need.

Worship

Worship is on Sunday at 10 a.m.  Holy Communion is celebrated at every service and all baptized, communing Christians are welcome at God’s Table.

Our service rotates between traditional and contemporary (every other week).

Education

Sunday School takes place during the Worship Service (after the Children’s Sermon) and is available for children ages 4-5th grade.

Adult Bible Study meets at 9 a.m. Sunday (text study)  and on Thursdays at 6:30 p.m.

Women’s Gather Bible Study meets the 2nd Wednesday at 11 a.m. We are currently meeting on Zoom.

Confirmation Classes meet after the service on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month and are led by our Pastor Carl and Lay Ministers, Kathy and Craig.

Community

We are proud to have the St. Paul Food Pantry at our mission house. We work in partnership with the Greater Lansing Food Bank.

We also have a community garden that provides fresh produce to the food pantry and the Congregation.

Every other month we have a Red Cross Blood Drive from 12:30-6:15.

Fellowship

Please join us for coffee hour following the service. Our Congregation puts on quite a spread with special themes and snacks every week. It’s a great opportunity to meet people, talk, and have fellowship.

Family Sunday Fundays take place the first Sunday of the month after the service. These activities are an opportunity for all members of the Congregation to have fun and fellowship in a social setting. Some activities include the Zoo, roller skating, sledding, museums and sporting events.

Bar theology meets on the third Sunday of the month at Red Cedar Spirits in East Lansing. This is an informal opportunity to ask questions and discuss faith while sharing a drink.

Music

St. Paul is extremely blessed to have wonderful music at each service.  Our music director, Jemal Tavadze, is pursuing a D.M.A at Michigan State University and holds a master’s degrees in Performance and Composition. We also have a Praise Team and a Choir.
