St. Paul Lutheran Choir

If you’ve ever found yourself singing along to a hymn and feeling something deeper stir, you’re not alone. Music has always been a big part of worship here, and our choir is one of the ways we come together to share that joy. You don’t have to be a professional singer or read music perfectly—just a willingness to show up and be part of something meaningful.

Choirs have been part of the Lutheran tradition for generations. From the time of Martin Luther, music has been seen as a gift from God—something that teaches, uplifts, and brings people closer to Him. Singing the Word helps it stay with you in a different way. It’s not just something you hear on Sunday—it becomes something you carry with you throughout the week.

Being part of the choir is more than just singing. It’s about growing in faith, building friendships, and finding a place where your voice matters. There’s something powerful about blending your voice with others and knowing you’re part of leading the congregation in worship. If you’ve been looking for a way to get more involved or connect on a deeper level, the choir is a wonderful place to start. You’ll be welcomed just as you are.

“Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise.” — Psalm 98:4

Singing together has always been a special part of our worship. Our choir isn’t about being perfect—it’s about coming together, lifting our voices, and sharing something meaningful. Whether you’ve sung your whole life or are just curious, there’s a place for you here.

In the Lutheran tradition, music is a gift that helps us grow in faith and carry God’s Word with us. Being part of the choir is a chance to connect, serve, and experience worship in a deeper, more personal way.

“Sing unto the Lord a new song, and his praise in the congregation of saints.” — Psalm 149:1

“Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly… singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.” — Colossians 3:16

“I will sing unto the Lord as long as I live: I will sing praise to my God while I have my being.” — Psalm 104:33
