What: "The Purpose Driven Life"

About: Many of us have wondered why we were placed here on earth. We have just begun a Sunday morning Adult Class using Rick Warren's book, "The Purpose Driven Life." This conversation about the meaning and purpose of our lives points us to how we are made to have our fulfillment in God. We will meet to discuss the appointed chapter of the book and reflect any observations we have pertaining to the topic for the day. Wednesdays

Adult Bible Study led by Pastor Richard Moe.

When: 7:30pm Wednesday Evenings

What: "Faith Lessons from the Bible"

By: Dr. Ray Vander Laan

About: This Bible Study is based on a short (17-35 minute) video presentation by Dr. Ray Vander Laan. In it he visits the archeological sites of biblical events and then he does a "Faith Lesson" about that site. We as a class then reflect and discuss what we have seen and heard. The class is 27 lessons long and will give a different overview of the whole Bible with some of the more recent biblical scholarship coming from studies of the cultures of the times. We will have a break during Advent and the holidays. Come and join us on this biblical journey. In our 40th year as a congregation this can be an enjoyable and good way to rekindle our knowledge of the Bible and our religious heritage.

Interested in finding out more about the Lutheran Church, it's understanding of God and St. Paul's congregation? For persons interested in membership or reflecting on their faith, this class is for you!

The Power of We

Learn why communication breaks down in our families and how to better communicate with others. The focus is on communication in marriage and significant other relationships but equally applies to school, work, and all relationships.
